The County Clerk is the clerk of the Commissioners Court and is responsible for attending and recording all commissioners court meetings and workshops. The county clerk is also responsible for attending and recording all Subdivision Advisory Board Meetings and workshops. 

Commissioners Court and Drainage District #1 meet every other Tuesday beginning at 9:45 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Texas. When Commissioners Court and Drainage District meetings fall on the last Tuesday of the month, meetings will begin at 1:45 p.m. with Drainage District and continues with Commissioners Court at 2 p.m.

Meetings may be viewed live when in session.

Hidalgo County Subdivision Advisory Board meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Hidalgo County Health Department Conference Room located at 1304 S. 25th St., Edinburg, TX 78542.

Additionally, the County Clerk provides copies of minutes to the public for the following fees:
