Don't Mess with Precinct 3 Reward Program Stop illegal dumping by reporting violators. If your tip turns into an arrest or citation, you may be eligible for a reward. Here's how: 

See it:

• Report the violator's physical description: Gender, age, hair color, clothing, etc.
• Report the vehicle: License plate number, color, make and model
• Report the incident: Time and date, location and type of materials
• Report any other identifying or incriminating evidence

• Report Online (Google Form)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Only materials dumped in Precinct 3 County roadways are eligible for a reward.
• The reward does not apply to materials dumped on private property.
• Only illegal dumping that has occurred in areas that are normally serviced by Hidalgo County Precinct 3 Field Operations Department is eligible for the reward.
• Littering does not qualify for illegal dumping rewards.
• Abandoned vehicles do not qualify as illegal dumping.
• County employees are not eligible to receive rewards.

If you see illegal dumping in progress, please do not confront the individual(s). Write down the details and the description of the suspect(s), vehicle make and model, license plate, the items dumped, address/location, and the date and time of the incident.
