The County Judge's Office of Emergency Management is committed to maintaining the safety and welfare of the County’s residents through preparation, planning, mitigation, and response.
Types of emergencies that we respond to are fires, hurricanes and other natural disasters or severe weather incidents, acts of terrorism, pandemic flu and other public health threats and whatever incidents that may arise calling for our expertise in the area of managing public response to an emergency.
Our team coordinates with area Emergency Managers, law enforcement, fire departments, public and private emergency response entities, hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, local, state and federal governments, councils of government and numerous non-profits.
