1. What is in the budget?

The County budget identifies all revenues and estimated expenditures for mandated and essential County services. It is a complex financial plan that integrates many income sources to provide a large variety of services for the public.

2. Who approves the County’s budget?

Commissioners Court is responsible for approving (adopting) the annual budget. Prior to the adoption of the budget, the Commissioners' Court will review the recommended budget prepared by DBM – Budget Division and revise, alter, increase, or decrease budget items as it deems necessary in view of the needs of the County and the available resources.
